Account Setup

A closer look at creating your OnCallClerk account, choosing a plan, and configuring payment.

Creating your account

Navigate to oncallclerk.com and click Sign Up. Enter your business email and a strong password (minimum 8 characters, mix upper and lowercase, numbers, and a special character). After submitting, check your inbox for a verification email and click the link inside to activate your account.

Didn't get the email?

Check your spam or junk folder. Delivery can take up to five minutes. You can also click "Resend Verification Email" from the login page.

Choosing a plan

After verification you'll be prompted to subscribe. All plans include 24/7 AI phone answering, call transcripts, lead capture, voicemail, call forwarding, and full dashboard access. The tiers differ in the number of agents, call volume, integrations, and support level.

Payment

Enter your card details (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover). OnCallClerk processes payments through Stripe and never stores card numbers on its own servers. Plans bill monthly by default; you can switch to annual billing later for a discount.

There are no long-term contracts. Unused minutes don't roll over, and you'll receive email alerts at 80% and 100% of your monthly allowance so there are no surprises.

Account settings

Once subscribed, open Settings in the sidebar and fill in your profile:

Next steps

Your account is ready. Head to Creating Your First Agent to configure a voice, greeting, and system prompt, then assign a phone number so your agent can start taking calls.

Troubleshooting

Can't log in? Make sure you verified your email. Try resetting your password, or clear your browser cache.

Payment declined? Double-check card details and make sure your bank allows international transactions. Try a different card if needed.
